Background History
‘GH Brooks is a family run builders merchant which has been running for over 50 years. The present family has owned the company since 1979. It began on a very small site on Dragon Parade and moved to its present location in 1992. In 2006, a further depot was acquired in the Summerbridge area thus allowing us to service a wider geographical area. In 2012 an opportunity arose to purchase the land adjacent to our Claro Road site, this allowed for the creation of our 2 and a half acre stock yard and a large timber shed, this then produced the one-stop-shop we have always strived for.
